Torta Boyz Ottawa – Delicious Fries Worth the Trip – Average EV Score: 7.5/10

Torta Boyz is a bit tucked away in a residential pocket, so you might miss it if you’re not paying attention. But once you find it, you’ll be glad you did. The vibe is laid-back, almost like you’re visiting a hidden gem your friend told you about.

Khao (Street Food Thailand and Bar) Ottawa Restaurant Review – Delicious Thai Street Food in Westboro – Average EV Score: 6.7/10

Khao (Street Food Thailand and Bar) Ottawa Restaurant Review – Delicious Thai Street Food in Westboro – Average EV Score: 6.7/10

Khao is located in Ottawa’s Westboro neighbourhood, in the same plaza as Bushtukah and directly across the street from Otto’s Subaru. If you’ve been in the area before, you might remember that this space used to be home to Fiazza. The location works well — there’s a shared parking lot for the plaza, which makes things convenient, though if it’s full, you’ll have to look for street parking nearby.

Alirang Korean Restaurant Review – Consistently Delicious Korean Cuisine – Average EV Score: 7.6/10

Alirang Korean Restaurant Review – Consistently Delicious Korean Cuisine – Average EV Score: 7.6/10

Alirang Korean Restaurant has long been one of my favourite Korean spots in Ottawa. What keeps me coming back is the consistency — the food is always flavourful, the textures are always satisfying, and the portions never disappoint. With so many restaurants, you sometimes worry about whether you’ll get the same quality from one visit to the next, but Alirang delivers a steady experience every time.
