Meet Noodle Restaurant Overview
1482 Merivale Rd, Nepean, ON K2E 6Z5
Located on Merivale Road in a small plaza, Meet Noodle is one of those places you might easily drive past without noticing. That’s exactly how we stumbled across it — with little expectation going in. To our surprise, it turned out to be a fantastic little spot serving high-quality noodle soups with the kind of care and attention that make you want to come back.
The restaurant is small with limited seating, and when we went, it was already filled with patrons. The space has a cozy, bustling atmosphere that’s amplified by the open kitchen, where you can see chefs preparing the noodles by hand. The sight and sound of hand-pulled noodles being stretched adds a sense of authenticity and makes the experience feel more special.
Service was another highlight. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always checking in and making sure everything was to our liking. Their attentiveness elevated the experience from just a good meal to a genuinely welcoming visit.
One of the standout features of Meet Noodle is the ability to choose the type of noodle you want in your soup. You can select the thickness and whether you’d like them flat or round, which makes each dish customizable to your personal preference. On our visit, we tried both the second-thin and third-thin options, and it was nice to be able to compare textures.
With the quality of the food, the service, and the overall vibe, Meet Noodle left a great impression. It’s one of those rare finds that feels like a hidden gem.

This appetizer set the tone for the meal. The beef was thinly sliced and tender, with a texture that melted in the mouth. The chili oil on top gave it a bold, spicy kick without overpowering the flavour of the meat itself. The oil brought out richness and depth, enhancing the natural savouriness of the beef.
It worked perfectly as a starter — light enough not to fill you up but full of flavour to get you excited for the noodle soups.

The classic beef noodle soup was a pleasant surprise. The thinly sliced beef was the star — tender, flavourful, and plentiful. From the moment I picked up the first slice, I could tell it was going to be excellent, and it lived up to that impression.
The broth was supposed to have a bit of spice (we ordered the normal spicy option), but it didn’t deliver much heat. While I would have preferred a bit more kick, the broth was still comforting and paired well with the noodles and beef.
For this bowl, I chose the third-thin noodles, which were standard size. They had a nice chew and soaked up the broth beautifully. The portion size was very generous, both in terms of noodles and beef, making it feel like great value for the price.
Braised Beef Noodles

😋 Enjoyment: 8.5/10
💰 Price Paid: $18

This was the dish that drew us to Meet Noodle, and it did not disappoint. The braised beef was soft, tender, and deeply flavourful, exactly what I was hoping for. It had that slow-cooked quality where each piece felt rich and satisfying.
For this dish, I went with the second-thin noodles, which were slightly thicker than the standard. While they were enjoyable, I found I personally preferred the third-thin noodles for their balance of chew and lightness. Still, it was nice to be able to experiment with the different sizes.
The broth was rich and flavourful, complementing the beef beautifully. What stood out most was the generous portion size. At other restaurants, I often feel tempted to order extra beef because portions can be small, but here I was glad I didn’t. The serving already had a very good amount of braised beef, making the dish feel hearty and satisfying.
This was hands-down the highlight of the meal, and I’d gladly order it again on my next visit.
Final Thoughts
Meet Noodle is a hidden gem on Merivale Road, offering authentic, customizable hand-pulled noodles in a cozy, welcoming environment. The small space with limited seating creates a lively, bustling atmosphere, and the open kitchen adds a unique touch that makes the experience more engaging.
The ability to choose your noodle type sets Meet Noodle apart from other noodle shops, and both the classic and braised beef options delivered in flavour and portion size. The spicy cold beef appetizer was another highlight, showing off tender slices enhanced by bold chili oil.
With friendly, attentive staff, generous portions, and reasonable prices, Meet Noodle exceeded expectations. It’s not just a place I’d recommend — it’s a place I’m already planning to revisit.
